1. Who we are
Continental Energy Resources UK Ltd, company number 17395723, registered in England and Wales and based in London, United Kingdom, is responsible for personal information collected through this website. For privacy questions, email info@continentalenergyresources.co.uk.
2. Information you provide
Business enquiries may include your name, company, contact details, service interest and message. Candidate registrations may include your name, contact details, optional nationality, location, current and desired position, experience, sector, availability, message and CV. Do not submit passport copies, financial details, medical information or other sensitive information through these forms.
3. How and why information is used
Enquiry details are used to respond to your request and discuss potential services. Depending on your enquiry, processing is necessary to take steps at your request before a contract, or for our legitimate interest in responding to business communications. Candidate registration uses your consent to consider your details for future opportunities and contact you about relevant requirements. Consent can be withdrawn by contacting us; withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before it was withdrawn.
Limited technical information, including an IP-derived rate-limit identifier, is used to protect the forms against misuse. This serves our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure.
4. Submission and sharing
When online submissions are enabled, form information is sent to our company email system. CVs are held only in the server’s private temporary upload area while the submission is processed, then removed automatically. They are not published or stored in a publicly accessible website folder. Hosting and email providers process information as needed to operate these services.
Candidate information will not be submitted to a prospective employer through this website automatically. Any proposed introduction should first be discussed with you. If a later engagement requires additional recipients or an international transfer, the relevant arrangements and any required safeguards will be explained before proceeding.
5. Retention
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any resulting relationship, and then reviewed for deletion unless retention is needed for legal obligations or a dispute. Candidate registrations are retained for a period that must be confirmed in the production configuration before candidate submissions are enabled. You may ask us for the retention period applicable to your circumstances or request deletion. Withdrawing consent ends future talent-pool use, subject to any information we must lawfully retain.
6. Cookies and security
This website uses an essential session cookie on its enquiry and registration pages for security checks and submission feedback. It expires at the end of your browser session. The site does not include advertising cookies, analytics trackers or third-party embedded maps. Your hosting provider may retain access logs. Form rate-limit counters contain timestamps and an IP-derived identifier; active counters disregard attempts older than one hour.
Access to submitted information should be limited to those who need it. No internet transmission or email system is entirely risk-free, so avoid submitting information beyond what is requested.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your information, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent. Contact us using the email above. We may need to verify your identity before responding. There is no automated hiring decision or profiling on this website.
You may also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. See the ICO complaints guidance.
8. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when the website or the way information is handled changes. The date above identifies the current version. A separate notice may apply to later recruitment, employment or client engagements.
